1.0 GENERAL INFORMATION

SYRCONSULT CONSULTING ENGINEERS, founded in 1974 as a leading consulting engineer practice specializing in engineering services. Our company works internationally and has different branches all over Middle East. From its inception the practice has specialized in the design of Residential Buildings, Hotels, Commercial complex and their associated structures and installations. Takes pride in offering a full range of architectural structural, civil engineering design and consulting services to a broad spectrum of clients.

The primary objective of the company was to make Syrconsult Consulting Engineers available on the international market in the areas of design, management and construction. Provides architectural, structural and civil engineering services to government authorities, development and construction companies, and individuals through out G.C.C with plans to emerge as a major world player within the near future Offering multidiscipline engineering services across the country and internationally with consultancy services covering planning, design, construction and maintenance.

As Engineering Consultancy Company, we consider the impact of the Environments and Technological changes on the organizations, infrastructure, community relation as well as taking current investments and innovative design competitiveness into account. It is also our responsibility to help discover the potential architectural designs by bringing the attention to any relevant new developments in infrastructure with appropriate prediction of its impact. Similarly, if the country should be initiating research and development of new type of innovative designs. It is also our task to share this knowledge with management and facilitate the successful creation of new developments. Nevertheless, it is our good fortune to have partnered, collaborated and consulted with clients from different countries.
Our knowledge in design is unparalleled because of our experience in the largest growth areas of the G.C.C and also provide the full range of services in studying and preparing projects designs and providing the advisory, conceptual and monitoring services for the implementation. Our firm also prepares a techno-economic feasibility report (TEFR) to clearly understand the project parameters together with clear market potential. In many cases the project profile can be a pre-investment feasibility report to address the factors in greater details. The pre-investment feasibility report addresses almost all the areas

The Architectural, consultants provide engineering and all other consultancy services required in connection with most of the projects executed by the Group. The consultancy services include Architectural, Structural, M.E.P. Designs as well as Cost Analysis and Quantity Surveying.  ENGINEERS WORK STAGES:

Design & Engineering Stage:
       *- Basic and Project Engineering
       *-Detailed Engineering

*- The basic Project Engineering stage gives the final shape to the project of details engineering to commence. Works undertaken in the basic and project engineering phase:

" Site Survey and soil investigation to finally select the site parameter for the design input data
" Clearly define the project as to composition of equipment, capacity, quality and elimination of parallel flow
" Overall layout based on soil data and survey report, location
" Finalization of energy optimization and conservation proposal
" Services & utility (gas, steam, water, compressed air network
" Electrical Power distribution
" Shaping of mode of execution of the project, numbers of packages for floating tender enquiries and identification of prospective contractors and vendors to whom tenders will be floated.

*- In the Detailed Engineering phase uses the data generated in the basic and project engineering phase as input data and undertakes the following works:

" Preparation of Shop layout
" Preparation of design drawings for concrete or steel structural work for the building
" Preparation of detailed architectural and civil engineering drawings for the building and civil engineering drawing for equipment foundation and auxiliary service facilities
" Approval of Structural or concrete fabrication drawing
" Finalization of input data, design, calculation, drawing and equipment parameters for preparation of technical specification in the contracting and procurement stage
" Checking of operating and maintenance manuals submitted by each vendor
" Checking of completeness in supply of drawings, design, calculation and other documents as listed in the contract arrangement.

Contracting and Procurement stage:

" Preparation of technical specification for civil work (foundation, steel and concrete structural works)
" Preparation of technical specification of technical units, electrical devices, utility and services network and equipment (including compressed air station, pump houses, raw water reservoirs and gas facilities and distribution).
